11) THE DUA OF ZAKARIA ‘ALAYHIS SALAAM!!
When Zakaria ‘alayhis salaam heard this statement from Maryam ‘alayhis salaam, his imaan (faith) on ALLAH increased.
Realising that everything is possible and easy for ALLAH, Zakaria ‘alayhis salaam made a sincere dua to ALLAH for having a child, this time with more faith.
Qur'aan mentions-
"When he (Zakaria) called out to his Rabb secretly. (19:3)
Saying: my Rabb! Indeed, my bones have grown feeble (very weak) and grey hair has been spread on my head, And I have been never disappointed in my invocation (dua) to you, O my Rabb." (19:4)
"And verily! I fear my relatives after me (that who will continue to spread the deen) , and my wife is also barren. So give me from yourself an heir (a child; so that he can continue the work of our deen)."(19:5)
"O my Rabb! Grant me from You a good offspring. You are indeed the Al-Hearer of invocation (dua)." (3:38)
[Jab Zakaria ‘alayhis salaam ne Maryam ‘alayhis salaam ki ye baat suni to unka imaan aur bhi zyada pukhta ho gaya.
Unhe is baat ka aur zyada ehsaas aur yaqeen ho gaya ke ALLAH ke liye har kaam mumkin aur asaan hai to Wo unhe is umar mei bhi aulaad dene ka ikhtyar rakhta hai.
Unhone ALLAH se sacche dil se dua kari aur is baar unka imaan zyada pukhta tha.
Qur'aan mei aata hai-
" Jab pukaara usne (Zakaria) apne Rabb ko pukarna chupke chupke."
"Unhone kaha: Ae mere Rabb! Beshak BOHOT KAMZOR HO GAYI MERI HADDIYA aur mera sarr budhaape ki waja se bhadhak utha hai yaani mere BAAL PURE SAFED ho chuke hai phir bhi Ae mere Rabb, mai teri zaat se na-umeed nahi hu"
Aur beshak mai darta hu apne rishtedaro se apne jaane ke baad (ke kon is deen ko phailane ka kaam jaari rakhega) aur meri biwi bhi baanjh hai to ata kar mujhe apne paas se ek waris (yani baccha jo ye deen ka kaam kar sake)."
"Ae mere Rabb! Ata kar mujhe apne paas se ek tayyib aulaad (yani jo jahalat aur bure kaamo se paak ho). Beshak tu sunne wala hai duaon ka."]
