ALLAH FORGAVE YUNUS ‘ALAYHIS SALAAM!!
As Yunus ‘alayhis salaam was a good pious man who immediately realised his mistake, so ALLAH forgave him and asked the whale to throw him out safely on a land.
Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him) said that this refers to a land in which there was no vegetation and no sign of life.
Yunus ‘alayhis salaam was extremely ill and there was no one who could take care of him, so ALLAH grew a GOURD PLANT on that land so that he could eat from it and obtain its shade for protection.
When he recovered and became healthy like before, he went back to his town and was amazed to see that people left all kinds of polytheism (shirk) and worshipped only ALLAH.
This made him very happy and he learnt a lesson that surely ALLAH guides whom he wills and whenever he wills and no one else is able to do anything without the will of ALLAH.
ALLAH said in Qura'an-
"So We answered his call and rescued him from the distress. And thus We do rescue the believers." (21:88)
"We threw him onto the open shore (the bank of river) while he was sick and We caused a plant of gourd to grow over him." (37:145-146)
[Kyuki Yunus ‘alayhis salaam ek acche nek insaan the aur unhone apni galti ka fauran ehsaas hote hi us par tawba kar li thi to ALLAH ne bhi apne bande ki tawba fauran qubool kar li aur machli ko hukum diya ke unhe bahar ek zamin mei ugal de.
Ibn Abbas radiallahu anhu ke mutabiq, wo zamin banjar thi jis par naa koi kheti thi aur na koi zindagi ka tasawwur.
Yunus Alayhis salaam bohot beemar the aur unka jism bohot kamzor ho gaya tha, isliye ALLAH ne unke liye usi zamin mei ek bel-daar darakht ugaya (jaise lauki ya kaddu ka darakht) taake wo usme se khaye aur usse unhe saaya bhi mile.
Jab wo theek ho gaye to wo apni qaum ke paas laute aur unhe shirk se paak, sirf ek ALLAH ki ibadat karta hua dekh be- hadd khush hue.
Unhone ye sabaq bhi seekha ke beshak ALLAH jab aur jisko chahe hidayat dene ki quwwat rakhta hai aur insaan bina ALLAH ke izn ke kuch karne ki salahyat nahi rakhta.]
