NO ONE BELIEVED IBRAHIM ALAYHIS SALAAM !!
The whole society stood firm against Ibrahim alayhis salaam and his teachings and no one believed him (except Lut Alayhis Salaam & Sarah Alayhis Salaam about whom we will learn later on.)
The people thought that he was joking and said-
"Have you bought us the truth or are you one of those who play about?" (21:55)
Ibrahim Alayhis Salaam replied-
"No! (Infact) Your Rabb (who is the actual one) is the rabb of the heavens and the earth, who created them and I am one of the witnesses." (21:56)
After hearing this, people got mad on him and started to dispute with him.
Quraan mentions:
"His people disputed with him (Ibrahim alayhis salaam )
"He replied to them: Do you dispute with me concerning ALLAH while he has guided me and I fear not those whom you associate with ALLAH in worship" (6:80)
[Puri qaum ne Ibrahim alayhis salaam aur unke paighaamat ko sire se jhutla diya (siwaye Lut Alayhis salaam aur Sarah Alayhis salaam ke jiske baare mei hum aage padhenge).
Unki qaum ko laga ke wo mazaak kar rahe hai aur ye kehne lage:
"Ke kya tum humare paas haq leke aaye ho ya humare sath koi mazaak kar rahe ho?"
"Ibrahim alayhis salaam ne kaha: Nahi, balke rabb tumhara (jisne haqiqat mei tumhe paida kara hai) wohi rabb hai jisne aasmaan aur zameen ko bhi paida kara hai aur mai ispar gawah hu."
Ye sunte hi log aape se bahar ho gaye aur Ibrahim Alayhis Salaam se jhaghadne lage.
Ibrahim alayhis salaam ne unhe samjhaya ke: Kya tum uss rabb ke baare mei mujhse jhaghadte ho jisne mujhe rehnumai di hai aur mai nahi darta ALLAH ke siwa kisi aur se jinki tum ibadat karte ho.]
