13) UNBELIEVABLE NEWS!!
Although Zakaria ‘alayhis salaam was full of hope, but as soon as he got the news, he was so shocked and surprised that he could not believe.
This reaction of Zakaria ‘alayhis salaam was similar to Ibrahim ‘alayhis salaam when he was given the news too.
Qur'aan mentions-
Zakaria ‘alayhis salaam said:
"My Rabb, how will I have a boy when I have reached old age and my wife is barren?"
The angel said: "Such is ALLAH; He does what He wills." (3:40).
This reaction and statement of Zakaria ‘alayhis salaam was not a form of disbelief, but it was a statement of surprise.
To be able to digest the news completely and to believe entirely, Zakaria ‘alayhis salaam requested ALLAH to show him a sign.
He said-
"My Rabb, make for me a sign." (3:41)

Qur'aan mei aata hai ke Zakaria ‘alayhis salaam ne kaha ke:
Ae mere Rabb! Mere yaha ladka kaise ho sakta hai jabke mai itna boodha ho gaya aur meri biwi bhi baanjh hai.
Uspe farishto ne jawaa diya ke:
Isi tarah hi karta hai ALLAH jo wo chahta hai yaani ALLAH ke liye ye kuch mushkil nahi.
Zakaria ‘alayhis salaam ka ye radde amal (reaction) aur baat be-yaqeeni andaaz mei nahi hai balke ek khushi aur hairaani ke andaaz mei hai.
