DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SARIYAHS AND GHAZWAAT!!
Sariyahs were those military journeys in which Prophet Muhammad ﷺ did not go, but sent a small group of his companions.
But,
Ghazawat are those military journeys in which Prophet Muhammad ﷺ WENT HIMSELF with a LARGE ARMY.
There is a difference of opinion among scholars that how many Ghazawat actually took place.
Some says 17, some 19, some 23 etc
Ibn Is'haaq رضي الله عنه has quoted that 27 is the correct amount and that majority of them agree upon 27.

But out of all these Ghazawat, there were only some important ones in which actual fighting took place.

Kuch kehte hai 17, kuch 19, kuch 23 wagera wagera.
Ibn Is'haq رضي الله عنه ke nazdeeq, 27 sahi raaye hai jispar zyadatar ulema ittefaaq rakhte hai.
(ALLAH behtar jaanta hai).
Lekin in sab Ghazawat mei se sirf kuch hi aise ahem Ghazawat the jismei asal jung pesh aayi (jo hum ek ek karke padhenge)].
