FIRE COOLED DOWN FOR IBRAHIM ALAYHIS SALAAM !!
At that point of time when Ibrahim alayhis salaam was being thrown in fire, Jibrail alayhis salaam came to him and said “O Ibrahim, do you have any need?” he asked.
"Yes, but not from you, ALLAH is sufficient for me", replied Ibrahim alayhis salaam
Ibn Abbas radiallahu anhu states that the last words Ibrahim alayhis salaam spoke before he was thrown into the fire were:
“Hasbunallahu wa ni`mal Wakil – ALLAH is sufficient for us and how excellent Protector he is!”
(Sahi Bukhari vol.6 #86)
ALLAH commanded:
"O fire, become coolness and safety for Ibrahim." ( 21:69)
And that is what exactly happened. The fire became cool for Ibrahim alayhis salaam and he was in the midst of fire , so relaxed and happy like he was in a garden full of pleasures.
This was one of the greatest miracles by ALLAH through which he saved his righteous slave who came back from the fire safe and unharmed.
[Jis waqt Ibrahim alayhis salaam ko aag mei daala jaa raha tha, Jibrail alayhis salaam unke paas aaye aur pucha ke kya aapko madad ki zarurat hai?
Ibrahim alayhis salaam ne jawaab diya ke Ji..lekin aapse nahi. ALLAH mere liye kaafi hai.
Ibn Abbas radiallahu anhu ki rivaayat hai ke Ibrahim alayhis salaam ke akhri alfaaz aag mei jane se pehle ke ye the:
"Hasbunallahu wa ni`mal Wakil: ALLAH humare liye kaafi hai aur wo kitna behetreen kaar saaz hai (ya hifazat karne wala hai)"
ALLAH ne aag ko hukum diya: "Ae aag thandi ho jaa aur hifazat kar Ibrahim ki."
Aur yahi hua, Ibrahim alayhis salaam ke liye aag thandi ho gayi aur wo is qadar khush aur mutmaeen the aag ke andar jaise kisi nemato wale baagh mei ho.
Ye ALLAH ka bohot bada mojza tha jisse unhone apne nek bande ki madad ki aur wo asaani se uss jalti hui aag se pur aman bahar aa gaye.]
