Prophet Yunus (Yunus Alayhis salaam ka qissa)

According to the scholars, the town to which Yunus ‘alayhis salaam was sent had people who did idol worship and led a shameless life. 

So like the other prophets, he was sent to deliver message of ALLAH and to eradicate polytheism (shirk) from there.

But like always, people rejected his message.

[Muffasireen ke mutabiq, Yunus ‘alayhis salaam jis qaum ke paas bheje gaye the wo SHIRK karti thi aur uske rehne wale be-hayayi ki zindagi guzaar rahe the.

Aur Nabiyo ki tarah, Yunus ‘alayhis salaam ko bhi waha ek ALLAH ka paigham dene ke liye aur shirk mitaane ke liye bheja gaya.

Aur jaisa ki hota aaya hai ke jab unhone ALLAH ka paigham sunaya, logo ne inkaar kar diya.]
