MESSAGE OF ISLAM!!
Before attacking, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ called ALI رضي الله عنه and gave him an important task.
He said-
"Go to them (Jews), invite them to Islam and briefly explain them the duties towards ALLAH.
"I swear by ALLAH that even if only one of them accepts Islam, that would surely outweigh the best camels for you"* (because camels symbolized power and wealth of Arabs)"

Ali رضي الله عنه along with other Sahabas did what Prophet commanded them.
But, the Jews were so stubborn that they denied the message completely.
There was a famous wrestler among the Jews named MARHAB who not only denied the message but was constantly challenging the Muslims.
[Hamla karne se pehle, Nabi ﷺ ne ALI رضي الله عنه ko apne paas bulaaya aur unhei ek zimmedari di.
Unhone kaha-
"Unke (Yahoodiyo ke) paas jao, unhei Islam ki dawat do aur unhe mukhtasir alfaaz mei batayo ke ALLAH ke liye unke kya kya faraiz hai.
"Mai ALLAH ke naam ki qasam khaake kehta hu ke agar unmei se kisi ek ne bhi Islam qubool kar liya to wo tumhare liya behetreen ootho se zyada qeemti hai.""

Ali رضي الله عنه aur baaqi Sahabao ne wohi kiya jo Nabi ﷺ ka hukum tha.
Lekin, Yahoodi itne hatdharm the ke unhone is paighaam ka sire se inkaar kar diya.
Unmei se ek mashhoor pehelwaan (wrestler) tha jiska naam MARHAB tha. Wo na sirf paighaam jhutlaa raha tha balke wo Musalmaano ko musalsal chunauti bhi de raha tha.]
