A TRICKY MATHS!!
Another help that came from ALLAH was that the believers and disbelievers were seeing each other twice their OWN number.
It means that if believers were 313, they were seeing the Quraish as 626 in number.
And if disbelievers where 1000 in number, they were seeing Muslims as 2000.
ALLAH mentions in Qur'aan-
"There has already been a sign for you in the 2 armies that met (in the battle of Badr):
One was fighting in the cause of ALLAH and the other were disbelievers. They saw them with their own eyes TWICE their number.
And ALLAH supports with His victory whom He pleases. Verily, in this is a lesson for those who understand." (3:13)
This was also a huge advantage for the believers. They saw that the disbelievers were not in a really huge number which reduced their stress.
On the other hand, it was a disadvantage for the disbelievers because they were seeing Muslims double their own number which made them worried and confused.
[Ek aur madad jo ALLAH ki taraf se aayi thi wo ye thi ke MUSALMAAN aur MUSHRIKEEN dono ek doosre ko APNE SE DUGNA (double) dekh rahe the.
Yaani agar Musalmaan 313 the to wo Quraish ko 626 dekh rahe the.
Aur agar Mushrikeen 1000 ki tadaad mei the to wo Musalmaano ko 2000 dekh rahe the.
ALLAH Qur'aan mei farmate hai-
"Albatta tehqeeq (ALLAH ne) tumhare liye ek nishaani rakhdi un dono groho mei jo us din aamne saamne aaye the (Badr ke din).
Ek groh ALLAH ke raaste mei jung kar raha tha aur doosra groh Kaafir tha.
Wo dekh rahe the apne se DUGNA apni hi aankho se. Aur ALLAH (isi tarah) apni madad ki taeed karta hai jiske liye Wo chahta hai. Beshak, ismei nishani hai un logo ke liye jo samajh bhooj rakhte ho." (3:13)
Ye cheez bhi Musalmaano ke liye faydemand sabit hui kyuki wo dekh rahe the ke Mushrikeen itne zyada nahi hai jisse unki ghabrahat thodi kam ho gayi.
Lekin doosri taraf, ye cheez Mushrikeen ke liye nuksaan deh bani kyuki wo Musalmaano ko kayi zyada dekh rahe the jisse wo ghabra gaye aur pareshan bhi ho gaye.]
