YUSUF ‘ALAYHIS SALAAM WAS CALLED BY THE KING!!
When the cupbearer returned to the king with the explanation of his dream, he was so impressed that he called Yusuf ‘alayhis salaam to him.
A servant was sent by the king to free Yusuf ‘alayhis salaam from the prison but when he went there, Yusuf ‘alayhis salaam refused to get out.
This was because he didn't want to come out guilty for the crime he did not commit.
He wanted to come out with full dignity and self -respect & not with a pity.
So he sent a request to the king to see the whole matter and after his innocence gets proved, he will come out!
Qur'aan mentions-
"And the king said: Bring him to me. But when the messenger came to him, (Yusuf) said : Return to your king and ask him, What happened to the women who cut their hands? Surely, ALLAH is well aware of their plot."

[Jab us shakhs ne badshah ko jake khwaab ki taabeer batayi to wo intehai khush hue aur unhone hukum diya ke Yusuf ‘alayhis salaam ko mere paas leke aayo.
Unhone apne ek khadim ko Yusuf ‘alayhis salaam ko riyah karne ke liye bheja lekin jab wo waha gaya to Yusuf ‘alayhis salaam ne bahar aane se mana kar diya.
Wo qaid se tab tak bahar nahi aana chahte the jab tak wo puri tarah se be-qasoor sabit na ho jaye.
Wo puri izzat aur waqaar ke sath riyah hona chahte the naaki taras ke bunyaad par.
Isliye unhone badshah se ek iltija ki..ke wo uss pure mamle ko dekhe jismei un aurto ne apne haath kaat liye the aur jab unki be- gunahi sabit ho jayegi..wo bahar aa jayenge.]
