THE PRAYER DURING THE TIME OF FEAR!
The aim of Quraish was not just to stop Muslims from entering Makkah, but to ATTACK them as well.
Close to Makkah, Muslims were offering their Zuhr prayer in congregation (jamaat).
One enemy of Islam saw that Muslims in the state of prayer can easily be attacked.
But as the Muslims ended their Zuhr prayer, the enemies decided to wait for the next prayer to attack them.
ALLAH was well aware of the plot, and He revealed the method of SALAT UL KHAUF (The fear prayer) before the Asr time.
In this, Prophet ﷺ was commanded by ALLAH that at the time of fear or war, they should NOT PRAY ALTOGETHER, BUT SHOULD DIVIDE THEMSELVES IN 2 GROUPS.
1st group should pray 1st rakah with Imaam with other group protecting them from behind.
Then, the 2nd group should come forward for 2nd rakah with the 1st group protecting them from behind.
(Qura'an 4:102)
And then, they both can complete their missed rakah one by one (if they get the chance, otherwise 1 rakah would be enough).
By this, both groups could earn the reward of congregation prayer and at the same time, protect each other.
By this great plan of ALLAH, the plot of enemies remained unsuccessful once again.
[Quraish ka maqsad sirf yahi nahi tha ke wo Musalmaano ko Makkah aane se roke balke UNPAR HAMLA BHI KARE.
Makkah ke qareeb hi, Musalmaan jamaat ke sath Zuhr ki namaaz adaa kar rahe the.
Islam ke ek dushman ne ye dekha ke namaaz ki halat mei Musalmaano par hamla karna bohot asaan hoga.
Lekin kyuki Musalmaano ki namaaz us waqt khatam ho gayi thi to dushmano ne socha ke agli namaaz tak ka intezaar karte hai.
ALLAH ko khoob maloom tha jo wo chaal chalne wale the, Isliye ALLAH ne Asr ki namaaz se pehle hi Nabi ﷺ par Wahi nazil ki ke kis tarah SALAT UL KHAUF adaa kari jaaye.
Isme Nabi ﷺ ko hukum diya gaya ke aise khauf ke waqt ya jung ke dauraan unhei ikattha namaaz NAHI padhni aur 2 GROUPS MEI TAQSEEM (divide) HONA HAI.
Pehla group Imam ke sath pehli rakaat padega aur doosra group peeche se unki hifazat karega.
Phir doosra group aage aayega aur imaam ke sath doosri rakaat padega aur pehle group peeche se unki hifazat karega. (4:102)
Phir dono groups ek ek karke apni ek-ek rakaat poori karenge (lekin agar mauqa nahi tou 1 hi rakaat kafi hogi).
Iss tareeke se sabko jamaat ka bhi sawaab mil jayega aur hifazat bhi ho jayegi.
ALLAH ki is behetreen tadbeer se, dushmano ki chaal phir ek baar nakaam ho gayi.]
