RESPONSE OF QAUME THAMOOD!!
Sualih Alayhis Salaam was from a WEALTHY and a NOBLE family.
Also, he was known a lot for his WISDOM and INTELLIGENCE amongst all & that is why he was going to be announced as one of the LEADERS or CHIEFS of Qaume Thamood.
But when he preached the message of ALLAH..the whole scenario changed.
The people said-
" O Sualih! You have been among us as a figure of good hope (we wished for you to be our chief), till this (a new thing which you have bought that we should leave our gods and worship your god (ALLAH) alone.
Do you now forbid us the worship of what our fathers have worshipped? But we are really in grave doubt to that which you invite us to (i.e. worshipping one god)"
Quraan-11:62
[Sualih Alayhis Salaam ek AALA KHAANDAN aur MAALDAAR ghar se talluq rakhte the.
Aur wo apni ZAHANAT (samajhdari) aur HIKMAT ke liye bhi bohot mashhoor the yaha tak ke unki qaum ne unhe apna sardaar banane ka bhi iraada kar liya tha lekin jab unhone deen ki dawat di to saara nizaam hi palat gaya.
Unki qaum ne unse kaha ke: "Ae Sualih! Tum humare bich mei bade aqal wale maane jate the aur hum tumse kayi umeede lagaye hue the lekin bas yahi tak ( kyuki jabse tum ye ajeeb paigham leke aaye ho ke hum apne ilaho ko chod de aur tumhare sirf ek ilah ko maanle to hum tumhe aqal wala nahi maante).
Tum humse ye chahte ho ke hum apne baap- dadao ke deen ko chod de? Lekin hum to bohot bade shak mei hai jiski taraf tum hume bulate ho (yani ek ALLAH ki ibadat.]
