EXAMINING THE CELESTIAL BODIES!!
After examining the idols, Ibrahim Alayhis Salaam moved on to the next set of things.
One day,he went up to a mountain to examine each celestial body (moon, stars,sun) which his community worshipped.
ALLAH says-
" Thus We showed Ibrahim the kingdom of the heavens and the earth so that he can be one of those who have faith and certainty" (6:75)
"When the night covered him over with darkness, he saw a STAR. He said: This is my Rabb. But when it set, he said: I dont like those who set (means true god will never disappear, so I reject it.)" (6:76)
"When he saw a MOON rising up, he said: This is my Rabb, but when it set, He said: Unless my Rabb guides me, I shall be surely be among the erring people (losers)" (6:77)
"When he saw the SUN rising up, he said: This is my Rabb, this is greater. But when it set, he said: O my people, I am indeed free from all that you join as partners (with the creator) . (6:78)
"Verily, I have turned my face towards Him who has created the heavens and the earth & I am not Al-Mushrikeen" (6:79)
[Murtiyo ka mutaala (examine) karne ke baad, Ibrahim Alayhis Salaam aur chizo ki taraf badhe.
Wo ek din pahaad ki taraf nikal pade aur waha jake unhone sitaare, sooraj aur chaand ka ghaur se mutaala kiya jise unki qaum poojti thi.
Jab raat hui aur unhone sitaare ko dekha to bol uthe: Ye hai mera rabb! Par jab wo dhal gaya to unhone kaha ke mai pasand nahi karta use jo dhal jaye (yani saccha rab kabhi gayab nahi ho sakta isliye mai iska inkaar karta hu)
Phir unhone chaand ko dekha aur kaha: Ye hai mera rabb! Phir jab wo bhi dhal gaya to unhone kaha: Ke jab tak mera rabb mujhe hidayat nahi dega, mai yaqeenan gumrah logo mei se honga.
Phir unhone sooraj ko dekha aur kaha: Ye hai mera Rabb! Ye bada hai. Lekin jab wo bhi doob gaya to unhone kaha: Ke Ae logo! Mai un sab chizo se bari hu jinhe tum poojte ho (yani mai inmei se kisi bhi chiz ko rabb nahi maanta.)
Beshak, maine apna aap uss zaat ki taraf kardiya jisne tamaam aasman aur zameen banaye hai aur mai mushrikeen mei se nahi hu.]
