A UNIQUE DEMAND!!
According to a narration of Ibn Kathir:
One day, the people of Thamood gathered for a meeting and Sualih Alayhis Salaam also came there to preach the message to his qaum.
But qaume Thamood remained firm in disobedience.
The chiefs of the community also feared that people might get impressed by Sualih Alayhis Salaam and would turn out to be believers.
So after a huge discussion, they laid a unique demand so that he won't be able to fulfill it and ultimately, he will shut his mouth.
They pointed to a rock and asked Sualih Alayhis Salaam to call upon his Rabb to issue a SHE-CAMEL which must be tall, huge, attractive and pregnant.

Ek din qaume Thamood kisi masle par baat karne ke liye jama hue to waha Sualih Alayhis Salaam bhi aa gaye aur unhone logo ko deen ka paigham dene ki phir se koshish kari lekin log apni baat par ade rahe.
Us qaum ke sardaro ko is baat ka bhi darr tha ke kahi log Sualih Alayhis Salaam ki baato mei aake unse mutassir na ho jaye aur unki baato ka yaqeen na karle.
Isliye kafi sochne ke baad unhone ye tay kara ke unke saamne ek aisi chiz pesh karne ko kahi jaaye jo wo laa hi na paye aur phir ainda ke liye wo khamosh ho jaye.
Unhone ek pathhar par ishaara karte hue kaha ke apne Rabb se bolo ke waha se ek OOTHNI bheje jo bohot lambi chaudi ho, khoobsurat ho aur hamilah ho yani maa banne wali ho.]
