ALLAH REMOVED THE PUNISHMENT!!
After a serious repentance from this community of Yunus ‘alayhis salaam in which everyone including men, women and children collectively asked for the forgiveness of ALLAH, ALLAH forgave them and removed the punishment that was going to come over them.
ALLAH said in Qura'an:
"Was there any town that believed (when the punishment was about to come over them) & their faith benefited them except the people of Yunus?
When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in worldly life and gave them enjoyment for a time." (10:98)
[Yunus ‘alayhis salaam ki puri qaum ne ijtimai maafi maangi jisme unke mard, aurte, bacche sabhi ne milke ALLAH se khoob khoob maafi maangi.
Unki aisi maafi dekh kar ALLAH ne bhi unhe maaf kardiya aur un par se azaab hata diya.
Ye isse pehle kabhi nahi hua tha ke kisi qaum par azaab chaspa (tay) ho gaya ho aur phir unke imaan ne unhe bacha liya ho.
ALLAH Qur'aan mei farmate hai-
"Kya koi basti thi jisne apni islah karli ho jabki un par azaab nazil hone wala tha aur unke imaan ne unhe bacha liya siwaye qaum e Yunus ke?
Jab wo imaan le aaye to Humne (yani ALLAH ne) unpar se azaab hata diya aur unhe dunya mei aur waqt rehne ki mohlat ata kari"]
