DENIAL OF HIS FATHER!!
There are number of dialogues between Ibrahim alayhis salaam and his father in Quraan which shows that Ibrahim alayhis salaam tried again & again to make his father understand the reality, but his father denied him completely.
At one point, his father even warned him that he will stone him to death if he do not stop preaching all this and instead asked him to leave the house.
Quraan mentions-
"He (the father) said: Do you reject my gods, O Ibrahim? If you stop not, I will indeed stone you. So get away from me safely before I punish you." (19:46)
"Ibrahim (Alayhis Salaam) said: Peace be upon you! I will ask forgiveness of my Rabb for you. Verily, he is to me, Ever Most Gracious" (19:47)
"And I shall turn away from you and from those whom you invoke besides ALLAH. And I shall call my Rabb and I hope the prayer to my Rabb shall not go unanswered" (19:48)
[Quraan mei kayi jagah aata hai ke Ibrahim alayhis salaam ne apne walid ko haq baat batane ki kayi koshishe ki par unke walid ne sire se inkaar kar diya.
Ek waqt to aisa aaya jab unke walid ne ye tak keh diya ke agar tum ye sab band nahi karoge to mai tumhe pattharo se maar dunga isliye behtar hai ke yaha se chale jao.
Ibrahim alayhis salaam ne iss mauqe par bhi apne walid ke liye dua kari aur kaha ke: Salaamti ho aap par aur mai apne rabb se aapke liye bakshish mangunga.
Aur mai yaha se chala jaata hu aapse door aur un hastiyo se door jinhe aap pukaarte hai kyuki meri pukaar to ek hi rabb ke liye hai aur mai apne rabb ki bakhshish se na-umeed nahi hu.]
