The name of his community was THAMOOD (pronounced as ?????? )

This community lived on rocky areas that is why they were also known as ASHAAB AL HIJR (The people of Hijr/rocks)

Quraan-15:80

[Sualih Alayhis Salaam tarteeb ke aitbaar se paanchve Nabi hai.

Unki qaum ka naam THAMOOD tha (jiska talaffuz hai- ??????)

Ye qaum pathrili ilaaqo mei rehti thi isliye is qaum ko ASHAAB AL HIJR bhi kaha jata tha.]
