THE TEST OF SACRIFICE!!
Another test came up for Ibrahim alayhis salaam and Ismail alayhis salaam.
One day, Ibrahim alayhis salaam saw in his dream that he was SLAUGHTERING HIS SON ISMAIL.
He understood that it was a commandment from ALLAH.
Dreams for normal human beings doesn't matter much, but the dreams of prophets and messengers was a way of ALLAH'S command.
So, Ibrahim alayhis salaam went to discuss the dream with his son.
Qur'aan mentions-
"And, when he (Ismail) was old enough to walk with him (Ibrahim), he said: “O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you. So look what you think!"
(37:102)
[Ibrahim alayhis salaam aur Ismail alayhis salaam ko ALLAH ne phir ek baar imtehaan mei daalke dekha ke wo karte kya hai.
Ek din Ibrahim alayhis salaam ko khwaab aaya ke wo apne bete Ismail ko zibah kar rahe hai, to wo samajh gaye ke ye ALLAH ka hukum aaya hai kyuki anbiyao aur paighambaro ke khwaab aam insano jaise nahi hote.
Unka khwaab ek tarah ka zarya hota tha jab ALLAH ko koi hukum dena hota tha.
Phir Ibrahim alayhis salaam Ismail alayhis salaam ke paas apna ye khwaab batane pohche.
Qur'aan mei aata hai ke-
"Jab Ismail alayhis salaam itne bade ho gaye the ke wo apne walid ke sath sath chal sake yani jawaan ho gaye the to Ibrahim alayhis salaam ne unse kaha: "Ae mere bete! Maine khwaab mei dekha hai ke mai tumhe zibah kar raha hu. To batao tum is baare mei kya sochte ho?"]
