WHISPERINGS OF SHAITAN!!
According to the narrations, when Ibrahim alayhis salaam and Ismail alayhis salaam left from the place of Mina, the devil appeared to them THRICE in the form of EVIL WHISPERINGS trying to stop them from performing the commandment by ALLAH.
At that time, Jibrael alayhis salaam came & asked Ibrahim alayhis salaam to STONE THE DEVIL.
So, each time when the devil gave evil whisperings, Ibrahim alayhis salaam threw 7 STONES to him & finally he left as a failure.
This act known as RAMI is also preserved as a sign by ALLAH and a remembrance for all.
So, whoever goes for HAJJ, it is compulsory for him/her to throw 7 pebbles at these 3 places where the devil appeared by saying ALLAH- HU-AKBAR.
The main motive is that we should always remember that the devil is our open enemy, so whenever he approaches us, we should stone him away, with our actions, thoughts and duas for preservation.

Us waqt, Jibrail alayhis salaam haazir hue aur unhone Ibrahim alayhis salaam ko Wahi ki ke aap is shaitan ko patthar maare.
To Ibrahim alayhis salaam ne har maqaam par, 7 kankariya shaitan ki taraf pheki aur akhirkar wo na-kaam hoke chala gaya.
ALLAH ne is amal ko jise RAMI kaha jaata hai ek nishani aur yaad dihani ke taur par ainda ke liye mehfooz kar liya jismei har Haji ke liye lazim hai ke wo un 3 jagaho par 7 martaba ALLAH HU AKBAR kehke kankariya maare.
Is amal ka asal maqsad ye hai ke hume humesha yaad rakhna chahye ke shaitan humara khula dushman hai, to jab bhi wo koi waswasa daale, hume use apne amal, khayalat aur hifazat ki duaon se rok dena chahye.]
