PRESERVING THE ACT OF SACRIFICE!!
The act & the essence of sacrifice performed by Ibrahim alayhis salaam & Ismail alayhis salaam was liked by ALLAH so much that he saved this act too as a sign and a memory for all mankind.
So, it is compulsory for all eligible muslims with enough wealth to buy an animal, get it sacrificed and share the meat with the poor and needy in the blessed days of EID UL ADHA.
The main essence of sacrifice is that along with the animal, we should also put knives on our evil desires, actions and thoughts.
ALLAH says in Qura'an-
"It is neither their meat nor their blood that reaches ALLAH, but is the piety from you that reaches him. Thus we have made them (animals for sacrifice) as a subject to you so that you glorify ALLAH (with praises) because he is the one who has guided you" (22:37)
[Jis asli ruh ke sath Ibrahim
alayhis salaam aur Ismail alayhis salaam ne qurbani ka amal kara wo ALLAH ko iss qadar pasand aaya ke Usne is amal ko bhi ainda ke liye ek nishani aur yaad dihani ke liye khaas kar liya.
Isliye Eid ul Adha ke mubarak dino me har sahibe maal aur istitaat wale musalmaano par lazim hai ke wo zibah ke liye janwar khareede, use zibah kare ya karvaye aur phir us gosht ko gareebo aur miskeeno ke sath bhi baate.
Qurbani ki asli ruh ye hai ke hum janwaro ko chhuri pherne ke sath sath apni buri khwaishat, amal aur khayalat par bhi chhuri phere.
ALLAH Qur'aan mei farmate hai ke-
" Nahi pohochta hai ALLAH ko uska (yani janwaro ka) gosht aur naahi uska khoon lekin pohochta hai usko tumhara TAQWA. Isliye ALLAH ne inhe (janwaro ko) tum par musakhhar kar diya take tum ALLAH ki badayi bayaan karo kyuki Wohi hai jisne tumhe hidayat di hai."]
