PRIVILEGE OF BUILDING THE KABAH!!
As the time passed, Ismail alayhis salaam was also given prophethood by ALLAH and he married a girl from Jurhum tribe.
Ibn Abbas narrated that one day Ibrahim alayhis salaam visited Ismail alayhis salaam and told him that ALLAH has asked them to build the house i.e. KABAH (or BAITULLAH)
Ismail alayhis salaam readily obeyed and they both started to build it.
Qur'aan mentions-
" And (remember) When Ibrahim and Ismail were raising the foundations of the House, (saying): Our Rabb!! Accept (the service) from us. Verily! You are the All- Hearer, the All-Knower!!"
(2:127)
[Waqt guzarta gaya aur ALLAH ne Ismail alayhis salaam ko bhi nabuwat ke liye chun liya.
Unhone Jurhum ke qabile ki ek ladki se nikah bhi kar liya tha.
Ibn Abbas ki rivaayat hai ke ek din Ibrahim alayhis salaam Ismail alayhis salaam ke paas aaye aur unhone bataya ke ALLAH ne hum dono ko hukum diya hai ke hum Baitullah (Kabah) ki tameer kare.
Ismail alayhis salaam ne phir ek baar wafadaari se is hukum ko khushi se qubool kiya aur is kaam mei apne walid ke sath lag gaye.
Qur'aan me aata hai ke-
"Aur (yaad karo) Jab Ibrahim aur Ismail Baitullah ki bunyade utha rahe the (aur sath me keh rahe the): Ae humare Rabb! Humari ye khidmat qubool farma. Beshak tu khoob sunne wala aur khoob janne wala hai"]
