THE CALL OF IBRAHIM ALAYHIS SALAAM !!
According to Ibn Kathir, when Ibrahim alayhis salaam and Ismail alayhis salaam completed the structure of the Kabah, ALLAH commanded Ibrahim alayhis salaam to call the people for Hajj.
Ibrahim alayhis salaam asked ALLAH that how shall his voice reach all of those people?
ALLAH told him that his duty is to give the call and it is ALLAH who will make it reach to the people.
Without delaying, Ibrahim alayhis salaam climbed the Mount of Arafat & called out in his loudest voice, People! Verily ALLAH has prescribed upon you Hajj, so perform Hajj.
ALLAH said to Ibrahim alayhis salaam -
"And proclaim (call out for) the Hajj among mankind. They will come to thee on foot and (mounted) on every camel, lean on account of journeys through deep and distant mountain highways." ( 22:27)
From that day onwards till now, millions & millions of Muslims continue to answer the call of Ibrahim alayhis salaam and come at this holy place to perform Hajj and this would continue till the day of qayamah.
[Ibn Kathir ne rivayat kari ke jab Ibrahim alayhis salaam aur Ismail alayhis salaam ne Khana e Kabah ki taameer puri karli, phir ALLAH ne Ibrahim alayhis salaam ko hukum diya ke wo logo mei ailaan karde ke log Hajj ke liye aa jaaye.
Ibrahim alayhis salaam ne ALLAH se poocha ke:
Ae mere rabb! Meri awaaz kis tarah sab tak pohchegi?
To ALLAH ne kaha ke aapka kaam sirf pukaarna hai..pohchana humara kaam hai.
Phir Ibrahim alayhis salaam fauran Arafat ke pahaad par chadhe aur buland awaaz mei sabko Hajj ke liye pukaar lagayi.
Aur tab se lekar ab tak saikdo log chahe wo paas se ho ya door se ,paidal aate ho, janwaro par sawaar aate ho ya baqi sawariyo mei aate ho, us pukaar par labaik kehte hue Hajj ke liye aate hai aur ye qayamat ke din tak chalta hi rahega.]
