19) THE DUA OF ISA ‘ALAYHIS SALAAM!!
Finally Isa ‘alayhis salaam was convinced and he made a dua to ALLAH.
He said-
"O ALLAH, our Rabb! Send us from heaven a table spread that there maybe for us , for the first and the last of us, a festival and a sign from You and provide us sustenance, for you are the best of sustainers." (5:114)
ALLAH said-
" I am going to send it down to you, but if any of you after that disbelieves, then I will punish him with a torment (punishment) such as I have not given to anyone among all the mankind" (5:115)
After that what happened is controversial.
Some scholars say that the table spread came from the heaven and there was so much food in it that thousands of people ate from it.
Some scholars say that after listening to what ALLAH said, the Hawariyoon themselves stopped Isa ‘alayhis salaam to ask ALLAH not to send it.
So, it did not come.
First opinion seems more valid but ALLAH knows best.
[Akhirkaar Isa alayhis salaam unki baat par raazi ho gaye aur ALLAH se iski dua maangi.
Unhone kaha-
"Ae ALLAH, humare Rabb! Utaar humpar Maidah (dastarkhwaan) aasmaan se taake ho jaye Eid humare mojood logo ke liye aur aane wale logo ke liye aur ek nishaani tere paas se; aur rizq de humko aur tu hi behetreen rizq ata karne wala hai."
ALLAH ne farmaya-
"Beshak mai nazil karne wala hu use tum par ;phir jo koi kufr karega iske baad tum mei se to beshak mai azaab dunga tumhe ek aisa azaab jo nahi pohcha hoga kisi ko bhi jahaan walo mei se."
Ab iske baad kya hota hai isme ikhtilaaf hai.
Baaz muffasireen kehte hai ke haqiqat mei aisa dastarkhwaan aasman se niche aaya jisme itna khaana tha ke hazaro logo ne usme se khaaya.
Lekin baaz muffasireen ke mutabiq, ALLAH ki ye baat sunne ke baad Hawariyoon ne khud hi Isa ‘alayhis salaam ko mana kar diya tha ke wo ALLAH se kahe ke Wo use naa bheje.
To wo nahi utra tha.
Zyada munasib raye pehle wali hai lekin ALLAH hi behtar jaanta hai.]
