ETIQUETTES OF HONOURING THE GUESTS!!
Ibrahim alayhis salaam taught us the etiquettes of honouring the guests whether we know them or not.
•First he gave them salaam;
•Then he took them comfortably to his house and seated them;
•And next, he went to arrange some good food to serve them.
When he went to Sarah alayhis salaam to tell her about the guests, he also discussed about the food with her.
They decided to ROAST A CALF for them (calf means baby cow)!
This was one of the greatest dishes among them.
So by this, Ibrahim alayhis salaam proved that one should present those things which is liked by his/ her own self and should honour the guests in the best possible manner.
Quraan mentions-
"Then he (Ibrahim alayhis salaam) turned to his household (wife, servants) so brought out a roasted calf." (51:26)
[Ibrahim alayhis salaam ne hume mehmaano ke sath ehtraam aur adaab ke kuch tariqe sikhaye chahe hum un mehmano ko jaante ho ya nahi.
Pehle unhone unhe salaam kiya, unhe khuloos ke sath ghar mei leke gaye aur baithaya, aur phir wo unke liye fauran khane ka kuch bando bast karne chale gaye.
Jab wo Sarah alayhis salaam se mehmano ka zikr karne gaye to sath sath unse khaane ki bhi baat kari ke unke saamne kya pesh kiya jaye.
Tou ye tay hua ke BHUNA HUA BACHDA unhe khane ke liye pesh kiya jaye (Bachda gaye ke bacche ko kehte hai)!
Ye unke yaha aala tareen pakwaano mei se ek pakwaan tha jisse Ibrahim alayhis salaam ne hume ek behtreen misaal di ke jo khud ko pasand ho wo doosro ke liye bhi pasand karna chahye aur jitna ho sake mehmano ka ehtraam karna chahye.
Quraan mei aata hai ke-
"Wo uske baad apne gharwalo ki taraf gaye (yani unki biwi aur naukar chakar) aur (mehmano ke liye) bhuna hua bachda lekar aaye."]
