Story of Prophet Yaqoob (Yaqoob Alayhis Salaam ka qissa)

Yaqoob ‘alayhis salaam was born in PALESTINE.

According to Ibn Kathir, Yaqoob ‘alayhis salaam left his home land because his brother Esau was jealous of him and threatened to kill him.

So as per his mother's advice, Yaqoob ‘alayhis salaam travelled to his maternal uncle where he married 2 of his daughters and worked as a shepherd for his father-in-law for some years.
