THE PLAN OF ALLAH!!
Abdul Muttalib then returned back and told the people of Makkah that Abraha is not going to listen so we all should hide to some other place and ask for the help of ALLAH.
At that time, the population of Makkah was not much.
To get safe from this large army, all the people of Makkah left the place and went to the HILLS (near Makkah)
On the other hand, when Abraha and his army came close to Makkah, the BIGGEST ELEPHANT in which Abraha was seated was NOT MOVING ANY FURTHER.
The name of this elephant was MAHMUD.
This was the instruction of ALLAH to the elephant.
[Abdul Muttalib uske baad wapis palat aaye aur Makkah ke logo ko aagah kara ke Abraha sunne walo mei se nahi hai to hum sabko apni hifazat ke liye filhaal kahi aur chale jana chahye aur ALLAH ki madad maangni chahye.
Uss waqt, Makkah ki abaadi itni nahi thi.
Itne bade lashkar se hifazat ke liye, sab Makkah wale jagah chodke PAHAADO ki taraf chal padhe (jo Makkah ke qareeb the)
Doosri taraf, jab Abraha ka lashkar Makkah ke qareeb aaya to unka sabse bada HAATHI jispar Abraha baitha hua tha wo AAGE BADH HI NAHI RAHA THA.
Uss haathi ka naam MAHMUD tha aur use ALLAH ne ye ehkaam diya ke wo aage na badhe.]
