LAST REQUEST OF ABU TALIB!!
After few months of boycott, Abu Talib became severely ill and was in a dying condition.
He was extremely concerned for the security of his nephew after he die.
At that time, Quraish put a proposal to Abu Talib and said-
"If Muhammad ﷺ don't say anything against our religion and gods, we will let the peace prevail."
Abu Talib called Muhammad ﷺ and put this proposal in front of him and requested him to accept.
The Prophet listened and then said-
"Dear Uncle! I ask them only one thing. And if they accept this thing, the whole Arabia would be under their control and non Muslims will pay tribute to them."
"Only one thing?" Quraish said. "We are prepared to accept 10 such things. What is it?"
Prophet said-
"La ilaha Illallah" (There is no god except ALLAH)
"What"!! Quraish said.
He has made only 1 god out of all the gods. This is very strange.
We will not accept it.
[Boycott ke kuch mahino baad, Abu Talib bohot beemar ho gaye aur dunya se jaane ki haalat mei ho gaye.
Wo apne bhatije ke liye bohot fikarmand the ke unke jaane ke baad unki hifazat ka kya hoga.
Us waqt Quraish ne Abu Talib ke saamne ek offer rakha aur kaha-
"Agar Muhammad ﷺ humare deen aur khudao ke baare mei kuch na bole to hum aman barqaraar rakhenge."
Abu Talib ne Muhammad ﷺ ko bulaake ye offer unke saamne rakha aur manne ki darkhwast ki.
Nabi ﷺ ne sab suna aur phir kaha-
"Chacha jaan! Mai inse sirf 1 hi cheez maang raha hu. Agar wo use qubool karlenge to pura Arab unke qabze mei hoga aur ghair Musalmaan unhe salaami denge."
"Sirf ek cheez?" Quraish ne kaha. "Hum to aisi 10 chize karne ko tayyar hai. Kya hai wo cheez?"
Nabi ne kaha-
"LA ILAHA ILLALLAH" (Nahi koi ilah siwaye ALLAH ke)
Quraish ne kaha- "Kya?"
Isne to sab khudao ko 1 khuda bana diya. Ye to badi ajeeb cheez hai."
Hum qubool nahi karenge.]
