DEATH OF ABU TALIB!!
When Abu Talib was taking his last breaths, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ sat near him.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ requested Abu Talib till his last breath to accept Islam and say-
"La ilaha Illallah"
He repeatedly said-
"My uncle, say La ilaha Illallah. This is a simple verse and if you say it, I will ask ALLAH to save you in the hereafter."
But 2 more people were sitting near Abu Talib-
Abu Jahl and Abdullah Bin Abi Umayya, both of them being the enemy of Islam.
They started to say-
"Will you leave the religion of Abdul Mutallib?"
And they continued talking to the dying man until his LAST WORDS were-
"...ON THE RELIGION OF ABDUL MUTALLIB"
Abu Talib died but Muhammad ﷺ refused to give up and continously asked for his forgiveness.
At that time, ALLAH revealed the ayah-
"It is not fitting for the Prophet or the believers that they should pray for forgiveness of Mushrikeen even if they are close/ relatives after it is clear to them that they are companions of fire." (9:113)
Although Abu Talib supported and protected Muhammad ﷺ till the end but his end was such a sad one because he refused to accept Islam.
"Indeed, ALLAH guides whomsoever He wills."(28:56)
[Jab Abu Talib apni aakhri saase le rahe the to Nabi ﷺ unke paas baithe hue the.
Muhammad ﷺ Abu Talib se akhri waqt tak darkhwast karte rahe ke wo Islam qubool karle aur "La ilaha Illallah" padhle.
Wo baar baar keh rahe the ke-
"Ae meri Chacha jaan, La ilaha Illallah padh lijiye. Ye bohot hi asaan jumla hai aur agar aapne ye keh diya to mai ALLAH se aapki nijaat ki darkhwast karunga."
Lekin us waqt 2 aur log Abu Talib ke paas baithe the-
Abu Jahl aur Abdullah Bin Abi Umayya, dono Islam ke kattar dushman.
Wo Nabi ki baat sunte hi Abu Talib se kehne lag gaye-
"Kya aap Abdul Mutallib ka deen chod denge?"
Aur wo ye baate kehte rahe yaha tak ke Abu Talib ke AAKHRI ALWAAZ YE THE-
"..ABDUL MUTALLIB KE DEEN PAR!"
Abu Talib ka inteqal ho gaya lekin Muhammad ﷺ lagataar unke liye maghfirat ki dua maangte rahe yaha tak ke ALLAH ki ayat nazil hui-
"Nahi jayaz hai Nabi ke liye aur wo log jo imaan laye hai ke wo Mushrikeen ke liye nijaat ki dua kare chahe wo unke qareebi /rishtedaar hi kyu na ho iske baad ke waaze (clear) ho jaye ke wo Jahannam wale hai"
Halaanke Abu Talib ne Nabi ki himaayat aur hifaazat aakhri waqt tak ki lekin unka khud ka aakhri anjaam kitna dardnaak hua kyuki unhone Islam qubool karne se inkaar kar diya tha.
"Beshak ALLAH jisko hidaayat dena chahe usi ko hidaayat deta hai." (28:56)]
