THE QURAISH LEADERS APPROACHED ABU TALIB!!
The Quraish chiefs after failing in all attempts to discard Muhammad ﷺ now had to go to Abu Talib (who was also one of the eldest chiefs of Quraish).
They said to him-
O Abu Talib! Your nephew curses our gods, find faults with our way of life, mocks our religion and degrades our forefathers; either you must stop him or you must let us go at him.
They again and again pressurized Abu Talib saying that if he do not stop him then he would have to face open enmity and opposition from them.
Abu Talib was deeply saddened by this.
He did not want to cut off his relationship with his nephew nor he wanted to face enmity by his tribe.
He said to Muhammad ﷺ one day-
"Spare me and yourself and do not put burden on me that I can't bear."
Muhammad ﷺ replied to Abu Talib-
"O my Uncle! By ALLAH, if they put the sun in my right hand and the moon in my left on the condition that I leave this mission, I would never leave it until ALLAH make me victorious or I die in this way."
[Quraish ke sardaar Muhammad ﷺ ko rokne ki har naqaam koshish ke baad Abu Talib ke paas pohche (jo Quraish sardaro mei se ek sardaar bhi the).
Unhone unse jake kaha-
"Ae Abu Talib! Aapka bhatija humare ilaho ko bura bhala kehta hai, humare rehen- sehen mei kamiya nikaalta hai, humare deen par aib lagaata hai, humare baap dadao ko gumrah kehta hai; ya to aap usko jaake roke ya hume ijaazat de ke hum uspar ghalba paa jaye."
Wo baar baar Abu Talib par dabaao daal rahe the ke agar aapne usko nahi roka to aapko humari taraf se khullam khulla mukhalifat ka saamna karna padega.
Abu Talib bohot ghamgheen ho gaye the. Wo na apne bhatije se rishta kaatna chahte the aur naahi apne qabile se mukhalifat molna chahte.
Mauqa lagakar unhone Muhammad ﷺ se ek din baat ki aur kaha-
"Mujhpar aur apne aap par rehem karo aur mujhpar aisa bhoj na daalo jise mai utha na saku"
Muhammad ﷺ ne Abu Talib ko jawaab diya ke-
" Ae mere Chacha jaan! ALLAH ki qasam agar WO MERE SEEDHE HATH PAR SOORAJ AUR ULTE HAATH PAR CHAAND BHI RAKHDE TAAKE MAI IS KAAM KO CHOD DU, TO MAI KABHI BHI ISE NAHI CHODUNGA JAB TAK KE ALLAH MUJHE KAAMYABI ATA NA KARDE YA MERI JAAN IS RAASTE MEI HI QURBAAN NA HO JAYE"]
