PROPHET'S JOURNEY TO TAIF!!
TAIF was the first place where the Prophet ﷺ went from Makkah to spread the message of Islam.
But his stay in Taif was not at all easy.
People did not listened to him nor responded him in a good manner.
There was even a group of people who threw stones on him.
There was only one person known as Addas, a Christian slave who belonged to the town of Yunus Alayhis Salaam who accepted Islam.
Prophet recited some verses of Qur'aan mentioning Yunus Alayhis Salaam which impressed him.
On returning back from Taif, Jibrail Alayhis Salaam came to Prophet with another angel who was the ANGEL OF MOUNTAINS.
This angel of mountains gave an offer to Prophet ﷺ that he can CRUSH the people of TAIF BETWEEN THE 2 HILLS for the way they treated him if he wishes.
The Prophet said:
" No! I hope ALLAH would bring people from their generations who would worship ALLAH alone."
(And we see that in future, a man known as Muhammad Bin Qasim who was from Taif bought Islam to India).
[TAIF Makkah ke bahar pehli jagah thi jaha Nabi Islam ka paighaam pohchane ke liye gaye.
Lekin Taif mei unka theherna asaan na tha.
Logo ne na unki baat suni aur naahi unhe sahi tariqe se jawaab diye.
Ek groh ne to unki taraf patthar phekke bhi maare.
Waha sirf ek shakhs tha jiska naam Addas tha jisne Islam qubool kiya. Wo ek Isaayi ghulaam tha aur us sheher se tha jaha se Yunus Alayhis Salaam the.
Nabi ne uske saamne Qur'aan ki wo ayate padhi jisme Yunus Alayhis Salaam ka qissa tha jisse wo bohot mutassir hua.
Taif se wapas jaate hue, Jibrail Alayhis Salaam Nabi ke paas ek aur farishte ke sath aaye jo PAHAADO KA FARISHTA tha.
Us farishte ne Nabi se kaha ke agar aap chahe to hum in Taif ke logo ko 2 PAHAADO KE BEECH MEI DABA DENGE kyuki inhone aapke saath bohot bura kara hai.
Lekin Nabi ne unhe mana kardiya aur kaha ke-
"Mujhe umeed hai ke ALLAH inki nasal mei se aise logo ko nikaalega jo sirf ek ALLAH ki hi ibadat karenge."
(Aur hum dekhte hai ke aage jaake, Taif ke ek shakhs jinka naam Muhammad Bin Qasim tha, wo Islam ko Hindustan/India mei leke aaye the).]
