3) A GREAT ADVICE BY SULAIMAN ‘ALAYHIS SALAAM !!
Dawood ‘alayhis salaam made a judgement that the owner of the flock should hand over all his sheep to the second person as a compensation for his loss.
At that time, Sulaiman ‘alayhis salaam was also present there when he gave a remarkable idea.
Scholars say that he was only 11 years old.
He said that instead of depriving the owner of the sheep entirely, both of them should interchange their assets for some time.
The owner of the land should take all the sheep, and benefit from its produce, including wool, milk, etc.
And on the other hand, the owner of the sheep should take care of the farmland, until the crops grew again and the farmland get restored back to its original condition.
When the farmland get restored, then the two parties could take back their assets.
Dawood ‘alayhis salaam loved the idea of his son and he gave this as his final judgement.
Qur'aan mentions-
"And remember Dawood and Sulaiman when they gave judgment in the case of the field in which the sheep of certain people had grazed at night and We were witness to their judgement.
"And We (ALLAH) made Sulaiman to understand (the case) and to each of them we gave Hukman (decision making power) and knowledge." (21:78-79)
[Dawood ‘alayhis salaam ne ye faisla kiya ke wo shakhs jiske wo bhed the wo apne bhed us doosre shakhs ko batore muakhza de de.
Us waqt waha Sulaiman ‘alayhis salaam bhi mojood the aur unhone ek behetreen hal diya.
Muffasireen kehte hai ke wo uss waqt sirf 11 saal ke the.
Unhone kaha ke Bhed wale insaan ko bilkul mehroom nahi kiya jaye.
Balke dono groh (parties) apni chize ek waqt ke liye adal-badal kar le.
Yani jiske bhed hai wo doosre aadmi ko apne bhed de de aur uski chizo se fayda uthaye jaise doodh, oon wagera.
Aur badle mei wo us doosre shakhs ki zameen ki dekhbaal kare yaha tak ke usme fasal dobara ug jaye aur uski haalat pehle jaisi durust ho jaye.
Phir jab wo durust ho jaye, to dono groh apni apni chize wapis lele.
Dawood ‘alayhis salaam ko apne bete ka ye hal behadd pasand aaya aur unhone yahi faisla tay kiya.]
