THE GLAD TIDINGS!!
Abdullah, the father of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ died some time before he was born.
Aminah, the mother of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was in total grief after this but as soon as she saw his son, she was overjoyed.
Soon, Aminah sent glad tidings of the baby boy to Abdul Muttalib, the grandfather of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
As soon as Abdul Muttalib heard the news, he rushed to see his grandson and was very happy.
He took the baby and carried him to the house of Kabah where he prayed and thanked ALLAH for this blessing.
It was ABDUL MUTTALIB only who NAMED him MUHAMMAD.
According to the tradition, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was CIRCUMCISED on the 7TH DAY and the AQEEQAH (the ceremony of sacrificing an animal) was also done the same day.
After that, a gathering (dawat) of nears and dears was also conducted by Abdul Muttalib and food was served to mark this day of happiness.
[Abdullah, Nabi ﷺ ke walid unke paida hone se pehle hi inteqaal kar gaye the.
Aminah, Nabi ﷺ ki walida apne shohar ke inteqaal ke baad mukammal gham mei doobi hui thi lekin jab unhone apne bete ko dekha to wo be-inteha khush ho gayi.
Paidaish ke fauran baad, Aminah ne bacche ki khabar bacche ke daada, Abdul Muttalib tak pohochva di.
Jaise hi Abdul Muttalib ko ye khabar mili wo fauran apne pote se milne ke liye aa gaye aur behadd khushi ka izhaar kiya.
Phir unhone bacche ko uthaya aur Khana e Kabah tak lekar gaye, waha unhone ALLAH ka shukr kiya aur us bacche ke liye dua mangi.
Ye ABDUL MUTTALIB HI THE JINHONE UNKA NAAM MUHAMMAD rakha tha.
Rivayat ke mutabiq, Muhammad ﷺ ka SAATVE DIN KHATNA karvaya gaya aur usi din unka AQEEQAH hua.
Uske baad unke daada ne ek dawat ka bhi intezaam kiya jisme unke qaribi logo ne shirkat kari.]
