3) THE QUALITIES OF YAHYA ‘ALAYHIS SALAAM!!
Yahya ‘alayhis salaam had an excellent character.
From Qur'aan only, we got to know his qualities-
•He was extremely gentle and merciful to everyone.
•He was such a person who was pure from sins.
•He was a righteous slave of ALLAH.
• He was an obedient son of his parents.
He gave them utmost respect, loved them, and served them all their lives.
Qur'aan mentions-
"(ALLAH said:) And We made him sympathetic to men as a mercy from Us, and pure from sins and he was righteous." (19:13)
"And (he was) dutiful towards his parents, and he was neither arrogant nor disobedient (to ALLAH or to his parents)."(19:14)
[Yahya ‘alayhis salaam ka akhlaaq bohot behetreen tha aur unki khoobiya bohot umda thi.
Qur'aan se jo unki khoobiya hume maloom hoti hai wo ye hai-
• Wo intehai NARAM DIL AUR SHAFQAT KARNE WALE THE.
• Wo ek aise shakhs the JO GUNAHO SE PAAK THE.
• Wo ALLAH ke NEK BANDE THE AUR TAQWA WALE THE.
• Wo apne WALDAIN ki BOHOT FARMABARDARI karte the. Wo unhe izzat dete, unka ehtraam karte, unhe pyaar karte aur unki khidmat karte the.
Qur'aan mei ALLAH ne iska zikr kara hai ke-
"Aur Humne (yani ALLAH ne) unhe (Yahya ko) Apni rehmat ke bator shafqat karne wala banaya, aur gunaho se paak banaya aur taqwe wala banaya.
Aur wo nek farmabardar the apne waldain ke liye aur naahi wo takabbur karte the aur naahi sarkashi karte ."]
