THE PHYSICAL TORTURE ON SAHABAS!!
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ along with the Sahabas (the believers and companions of Prophet) had to undergo a harsh phase of torture from the disbelievers of Makkah.
Some examples are below-
•Ibn Kathir has written,
Ammar رضي الله عنه ( a sahaba) and his parents suffered severe tortures from the idol worshippers.
The idol worshippers forced them out of their house in the HOT BURNING WEATHER AND TORTURED THEM SEVERELY under the burning rays of the sun so that they would leave the faith.
SUMMAYYAH رضي الله عنه, Ammar's mother, was the FIRST MARTYR OF ISLAM.
• Bilal رضي الله عنه, an Ethiopian slave was among the Prophet's most faithful followers, and, because of his faith in Islam, his ruthless master brutally tortured him.
At midday when it was scorching hot, his master would make Bilal lie down on the burning HOT DESERT PEBBLES AND SAND and put a large and HEAVY STONE on his CHEST to force him to stop obeying the Prophet of Islam and to worship their idols instead of worshipping One God.
Bilal stood firm against all the threats and tortures most bravely and responded just by repeating the word 'AHAD' (One), meaning `God is One and I will never become an idol worshipper'.
• The master of Abu Fakih رضي الله عنه put a very HEAVY STONE on his chest which brought out his TONGUE.
In spite of these persecutions, Abu Fakih refused to leave Islam.
• Khabbab رضي الله عنه was was among the early believers therefore he suffered long.
He was made to wear STEEL ARMOUR and lie in the sun to sweat. Very often he was made to lie flat on burning sand, which caused the flesh on his back to dissolve. He was the slave of a woman. When she came to know that he was visiting the Prophet, she burn his HEAD with a HOT IRON MAN.
• Zinira رضي الله عنه was a Roman slave girl. When disbelievers found out that she accepted Islam, they tortured her until she went BLIND and then said that she got blind due to the wrath of our gods.
But she remained firm and said that it was ALLAH who blinded me and if ALLAH will, He could give my eyesight back and next morning when she opened her eyes, ALLAH gave back her eyesight.
• A slave girl was tortured by none other than UMAR BIN KHATTAB (رضي الله عنه) who was still a disbeliever. He, famous for his physical strength would beat her until he got exhausted. He would then stop saying that it was not because of mercy but rather because of fatigue that he is stopping.
[ Muhammad ﷺ aur Sahaba/ Sahabiyaat ko Mushrikeen e Makkah ki taraf se ek aise daur se guzarna padha jo be- inteha sakht tha.
Iski kuch misaale ye hai-
• Ibn Kathir rivayat karte hai ke AMMAR رضي الله عنه aur unke waldain ko Mushrikeen ki taraf se bohot aziyate mili.
Wo unhe unke ghar se zabardasti bahar nikaalte aur TEZ GARMI KI TEZ TAPISH MEI UNHE AZIYAT DETE taake wo log deen e Islam ko chod de.
SUMMAYYAH رضي الله عنه, (Ammar ki walida) ISLAM KE RAASTE MEI PEHLI SHAHEED HONE WALI AURAT THI.
• Bilal رضي الله عنه jo ek ghulaam the aur Nabi ke behadd qareeb Sahabao mei se the unhe unke Malik ne is qadar aziyat di ke unhe din ki tez dhoop ke waqt reth ki TAPTI HUI KANKARIYO PAR LITA KAR UNKE SEENE PAR BHAARI PATTHAR RAKH DETE taake wo Islam ko chodkar budh parasti par laut aaye.
Lekin Bilal رضي الله عنه apne deen par jame rahe aur bahaduri ke sath zabaan se bas 1 lafz kehte: "AHAD" (akela) Yani mera Rabb ek hi hai aur mai Mushrikeen mei se nahi hu.
• Abu Fakih رضي الله عنه jo ek Sahabi the unke Malik ne unke upar ITNA BHAARI PATTHAR RAKHA KE UNKI ZABAAN BAHAR AA GAYI.
Iske bawajood unhone Islam ko chodne se mana kardiya.
• Khabbab رضي الله عنه awwal imaan lane walo mei se ek the to unpar aziyat wala daur lamba raha.
Unhe steel ki zirah pehna kar tapti hui dhoop mei litaya jata tha.
Aur bohot baar unhe GARAM RETH PAR NANGE JISM LITA KAR unhe aziyat di jati yaha take ke unki khaal galne lagti thi.
Wo ek aurat ke ghulaam the. Jab use pata chala ke wo Nabi se milne jate hai to usne unke SAR KO LOHE KI GARAM ROD SE JALAAYA.
• Zinira رضي الله عنه ek Roomi ghulaam aurat thi. Jab kafiro ko unke Islam ke baare mei pata chala to unhe itni aziyat di ke wo ANDHI ho gayi aur phir kafir ye kehne lage ke ye humare ilaho ki maar hai jo tujhpar padhi hai.
Lekin wo sabit qadam rahi aur kehne lagi ke mai Na-beena (andhi) ALLAH ke izn se hi hui hu aur agar Usne (ALLAH ne) chaaha to meri aakho ki roshni wapis aa jayegi.
Agle din subah jab wo uthi to unki aakho ki roshni wapis aa gayi.
• Ek ghulaam aurat ko aur kisi ne nahi balke khud Umar Bin Khattab (رضي الله عنه) ne aziyat di jo ab tak Imaan nahi laye the.
Apni taqat ke liye mashhoor, wo us ghulam aurat ko ITNA MAARTE jab tak wo khud na thak jaate. Phir wo ruk jaate aur ye kehte ke mai rehem ki waja se nahi ruka balke thakavat ki waja se ruka hu.]
