Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his family belonged to a tribe named QURAISH.
This was the most important and famous tribe of Makkah.
This tribe had the responsibility of TAKING CARE of the house of KABAH.
At that time, the leadership of Quraish was in the hands of Abdul Mutallib.
To avoid confusion between the LINEAGE , FAMILY and TRIBE of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, lets summarise!!
•The LINEAGE from which Prophet Muhammad ﷺ came was from ISMAIL alayhis salaam.!!
• The FAMILY of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was known as HASHIMITE family.
• The TRIBE to which Prophet ﷺ and his family belonged to was QURAISH!!

Ye qabila Makkah ka sabse jana maana aur mashhoor qabila tha.
