THE TORTURE CONTINUES!!
Although the physical torture by disbelievers was practiced more often on the WEAK BELIEVERS like the slaves or those who belonged to the lower section of the society but in many cases we find that the Sahabas who were wealthy or belonged to a good noble family also faced many sorts of tortures mostly by their own family members or relatives.
In many cases, the family completely cut off the ties with the member who accepted Islam like in the case of MUSAB BIN UMAIR رضي الله عنه, a famous Sahaba.
When he accepted Islam, his mother refused to give him food and drink and threw him out of the house.
The man who used to live a luxurious life had to face extreme torture just because he accepted Islam.
UTHMAN رضي الله عنه was a well to do person in the community but he was too tortured in various ways.
His own uncle wrapped him up tightly in a mat of palm leaves and set fire from below (with an incense stick).
ABU BAKR رضي الله عنه and TALHA رضي الله عنه were also harassed.
Both of them were tied with the same rope so that they could not pray and practice their new faith.
Abu Jahl had a sharp eye on every single person who would enter into the religion of Islam.
When he saw that the new believer is a weak person, he would beat him severely and asked others to do the same and if he saw that the believer is from a dignified family, he would degrade him, make fun of him, threaten him and so on.
There are many incidents besides these which clearly show that the torture on muslims was very severe.
Many believers were harshly beaten, many were tied with the ropes and were dragged on the stony ground of desert, many were tortured with hot burning objects, so on and so forth.

UTHMAN رضي الله عنه qaum ke acche izzat daar shakhs the lekin unhe bhi kayi aziyate pohchi.
Unke sage Chacha ya taaya ne unhe bade khajoor ke patte mei lapet kar niche se agarbatti jala di.
ABU BAKR رضي الله عنه aur TALHA رضي الله عنه ko bhi bohot sataya gaya.
Un dono ko ek hi rassi se baand diya gaya tha taake wo log namaaz aur baqi ibadate na kar paye.

Jab wo dekhta ke naya Musalmaan nichle tabqe se hai to wo unhe bohot maarta aur doosro ko bhi yahi sikhata.
Aur jab wo ye dekhta tha ke naya Musalmaan acche ghar se hai to wo unhe kamtar mehsoos karvata, mazaak udata, dhamkiya deta wagera wagera.
Iske alawa aise kayi waqye hai jisse saaf zahir hota hai ke Musalmaano par aziyat ka ye daur kitna khatarnaak tha.
