FIRST AND SECOND PLEDGE!!
Among the people of Madinah who accepted Islam, 5 of them again came to Makkah next year for Hajj.
They bought some people along with them too who had accepted Islam.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ asked them to pledge that-
"You will not associate partners with ALLAH, not steal, not commit unlawful acts, nor kill your children, not abuse people and not disobey Prophet when he instructs you to do good."
This pledge was made in a place known as Aqabah.
Therefore this pledge was known as FIRST PLEDGE OF AQABAH!!
In the last year of Prophet's stay in Makkah, another pledge was taken which was known as SECOND PLEDGE OF AQABAH in which more than 70 people of Madinah came to take the pledge.
[Jin Madinah ke logo ne Islam qubool kiya tha, unmei se 5 log agle saal dobara Hajj ke liye Makkah aaye aur apne sath kuch aur logo ko bhi lekar aaye jinhone Islam qubool kar liya tha.
Nabi ﷺ ne unse ek ahed/bait lene ke liye kaha jismei unhe waada karna hoga ke-
"Wo ALLAH ke sath kisi ko shareek nahi karenge, chori nahi karenge, Be-hayayi ke kaam naam karenge, Baccho ko nahi maarenge, Logo se bad-salooki nahi karenge aur Nabi ki nafarmaani nahi karenge."
Ye bait AQABAH naam ki jagah pe liya gaya tha iss wajah se ise PEHLI BAIT E AQABAH kaha jata hai.
Makki daur ke aakhri saal mei, Nabi ne ek aur bait li jise DOOSRI BAIT E AQABAH kaha jata hai.
Ismei Madinah ke 70 se bhi zyada log ye bait lene ke liye aaye.]
