4) A UNIQUE SULTANATE!!
After the death of Dawood ‘alayhis salaam, ALLAH granted Sulaiman ‘alayhis salaam the greatest kingdom/ sultanate which no one else got and will never get till the day of qayamah.
This was the result of the prayer of Sulaiman ‘alayhis salaam in which he asked ALLAH that-
"O my Rabb! Forgive me, and grant me a Kingdom which shall not belong to anyone after me. Verily, you are the Bestower." (38:35)
Scholars mention various reasons why he made this wish like-
Some said that he wanted to earn the akhirah by utilising his skills and making use of his knowledge that ALLAH gave him.
Some said that he knew that ALLAH had given him the strength to be a ruler of a great kingdom so he wanted to set an example for the generations to come that how a ruler should be.
Some said that he wished that his powers do not go into the wrong hands after he dies and this is because all his sons were useless and he was aware that they will misuse the powers.
Basically, all the interpretations are somehow correct because for a true muslim, utilising the blessings is a way of earning the akhirah and Sulaiman ‘alayhis salaam did the same thing.
[Dawood ‘alayhis salaam ke inteqaal ke baad, ALLAH ne Sulaiman ‘alayhis salaam ko itni azeem Saltanat ata kari jo na kabhi kisi ko mili thi aur na hi kabhi milegi.
Ye unki dua ka hi natija tha jo unhone ALLAH se ki thi. Unhone kaha tha-
"Ae mere Rabb! Mujhe bakhsh de aur mujhe ek aisi saltanat ata kar jo na pohche kisi ko bhi mere baad. Beshak tu hi bohot ata karne wala hai."
Muffasireen ki alag alag raye hai ke Sulaiman ‘alayhis salaam ne aisi dua kyu maangi thi.
Inmei se kuch ye hai-
Kuch ka kehna hai ke wo apni qabiliyat aur Ilm ka sahi istemaal karke akhirat kamaana chahte the.
Kuch ka kehna hai ke unhe maloom tha ke ALLAH ne unhe itni taqat di hai ke wo ek azeem Saltanat ki rehnumai kar sake aur ainda aane wali naslo ke liye ek behetreen misaal qayam kar sake ke ek hukmaraan ko kaisa hona chahye.
Kuch ye kehte hai ke unhe darr tha ke unke inteqal ke baad saari taqate galat hatho mei na chali jaye kyuki unki sab aulaado na-ahal thi isliye unhe darr tha ke kahi wo iska ghalat istemal na kare.
Barahaal, ye sab raaye kisi na kisi hadd tak sahi hai kyuki ek momin ke liye, dunya ki nemate akhirat kamaane ka ek zarya hoti hai aur Sulaiman ‘alayhis salaam ne bhi kuch aisa hi kiya.]
