THE EVENT STARTED!!
Magicians agreed and the event started.
Magicians asked Moosa ‘alayhis salaam that who will start first so Moosa ‘alayhis salaam asked them to start first.
Magicians bought a fantastic magic that made everyone awestruck.
They threw their ropes and sticks in such a way that it looked like snakes moving all around.
This was a kind of hypnotised magic where they played with the minds of people and made them look the things differently.
This great magic made Moosa ‘alayhis salaam nervous and he developed a fear but ALLAH assured him of his victory.
Qur'aan mentions-
They said to Moosa ‘alayhis salaam :
"O Moosa! Either you throw first or we be the first to throw?"
"Moosa ‘alayhis salaam said-
"Nay! You throw first.
Then behold, their ropes and their sticks by their magic appeared to him as though they moved fast (like snakes)."
"So Moosa developed a fear in himself."
"We (ALLAH) said: Fear not! Surely you will have the upper hand (you will win)." (20:65-68)
It is mentioned in other place-
"So when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people and struck terror into them and they displayed a great magic." (7:116)
[Jaadugar maan gaye aur taqreeb shuru hui.
Jaadugaro ne Moosa ‘alayhis salaam se poocha ke kon pehle shuru kare to Moosa ‘alayhis salaam ne kaha ke aap shuru karye.
To jadugaro ne shuru kara aur wo ek behetreen jaadu saamne lekar aaye.
Unhone apni rassiya aur laathiya iss tarah zameen pe pheki ke aisa lag raha tha ke itne saare saap tezi se daur rahe ho.
Unhone logo ko mashoor karne wala jaadu kiya jisse wo logo ke dimaag se khele aur unhe kuch ki kuch cheez dikhaye.
Log ye sab dekh kar hairat angez bhi hue aur darr bhi gaye.
Udhar, Moosa ‘alayhis salaam bhi itna azeem jaadu dekh kar ghabra uthe lekin ALLAH ne fauran hi unpar Wahi nazil ki ke aap ghabraye nahi, yaqeenan aap hi ghalba payenge.]
