RESPONSE OF QAUME MADYAN!!
Like the history tells us that whenever a messenger came, majority of the people opposed him.
This is because when a person speaks truth, the leaders and the elite section of the society develop a fear of losing their positon; so they try to deviate the middle section and the lower section of the society by creating false propogandas against that person.
While some use their brains and search for the truth, but majority blindly follow the masses.
That is what happened with Shoaib ‘alayhis salaam too.
Even though he had such a clear and fluent speech but he was not understood by many.
The problem was not in his explaining, the problem was with those people who do not wanted to understand because they were so involved in their worldly affairs that these things seemed unimportant to them.
The leaders of the community mocked at Shoaib ‘alayhis salaam & said-
"You are only of those affected by magic.
You are but a man like ourselves, and indeed, we think you are among the liars."
(26:185-186)
[Jaisa ke humesha hota aaya hai ke jab bhi koi rasool aaye hai, unhe zyadatar logo ki mukhtalifat ka saamna karna padhta hai.

Unmei se kuch sach ko samajhke uski tehqeeq karte hai lekin amooman andha-dhun bheed ke piche chal padte hai.
Yahi kuch Shoaib ‘alayhis salaam ke sath hua.
Halaanke wo zabaan ke mahir the lekin phir bhi unki baate bohot se logo ko samajh nahi aa rahi thi.
Kami unke samjhane mei nahi thi logo ke samajhne mei thi jo apni dunya ki raunaqo ke aage aisi baato ko bekaar samajhte the.
Uss qaum ke bado ne humesha ki tarah Shoaib ‘alayhis salaam ka mazaak banaya aur kehne lage-
"Hume to lagta hai ke tumpar to kisi ne jaadu kardiya hai.
(Aur hum tumhari baat kyu sune?) Tum to sirf humare jaise ek insaan ho (koi farishte thodi ho). Beshak hum to tumhe jhoota samajhte hai"]
