THIRD TEST OF AYYUB ‘ALAYHIS SALAAM!!
Last and the final test of Ayyub ‘alayhis salaam was his LOSS OF HEALTH.
Ibn Kathir mentioned that he was so ill that only his heart and tongue were in a good condition from which he continued to remember ALLAH.
The other body parts were in so much pain and suffering that neither he could do any work nor he could walk.
Ayyub ‘alayhis salaam suffered from a SKIN DISEASE.
His parts of body were covered with sores. He had many ugly looking ulcers on his face and hands. The sores were full of worms.
His condition worsened day by day that everyone including his friends and relatives left him in fear that the disease might touch them as well.
At one point of time, he was thrown out of his own city and he was in a state where everyone boycotted him except his wife.
But in this condition also, Ayyub ‘alayhis salaam set a tremendous example of patience where he did not utter a single word of complain to ALLAH & continued His praises.
