WHO WAS HALIMAH?
It was a general custom of the Arabs living in towns to send their children to WET NURSES living in villages for mainly 3 reasons-
•So that their children grow up in a FREE and HEALTHY SURROUNDING of the DESERT.
• So that they would develop a STRONG BODY.
• And so that they could develop PURE SPEECH and MANNERS.
In return, these wet nurses were paid for it.
At that time, some wet nurses came to Makkah for this purpose only.
Many wet nurses rejected Prophet Muhammad ﷺ because he was without a father and they feared that they would be paid less.
All of them got their children except Halimah.
HALIMAH, who was in her own bad conditions was left with no one except Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and she took him along.
[Arbo ke yaha aam taur par dastoor tha ke sheher mei paida hone wale baccho ko kuch waqt ke liye GAON mei bheja jaya karta tha jaha unki parvarish daayiya kiya karti thi.
Iski amooman 3 wajah thi-
• Bacche KHULE aur SEHAT MAND MOHOL mei PALTE - BADHTE the.
• Baccho ki HADDIYA MAZBOOT hoti thi.
• Baccho ki ZABAAN SAAF HOTI aur TAUR TARIKE bhi acche se aa jate.
Iske badle un daiyyo ko iski qeemat bhi di jati.
Us waqt, Makkah mei kuch aurte isi kaam ke liye aayi thi.
Sab daiyyo ne Nabi ﷺ ko lene se inkaar kar diya kyuki wo Yateem the (yani bina baap ke the) isliye unhe laga ke unhe uski qeemat kam milegi.
Akhirkaar sabko bacche mil gaye siwaye Halimah ke.
HALIMAH khud bhi apni majbooriyo mei thi aur unke paas aur koi rasta bhi nahi tha siwaye Nabi ﷺ ko lene ke to unke hisse mei Nabi ﷺ ki parvarish likhi gayi.]
