Story of Prophet Is`haaq (Is`haaq Alayhis Salaam ka qissa)

The name of Is'haaq ‘alayhis salaam is mentioned several times in Qur'aan but the details are not mentioned about him.

What we know accroding to Ibn Kathir is that Is'haaq ‘alayhis salaam was married to a woman named Rebekah and she gave birth to a pair of twins who were named-

Esau and Yaqoob from which YAQOOB ‘alayhis salaam became a Prophet later on.

[Qur’aan mei Is'haaq ‘alayhis salaam ka kayi baar naam aaya hai lekin unki zindagi ke baare mei koi tafseel nahi aati.

Lekin Ibn Kathir ki rivaayat ke mutabiq, unki shadi Rebekah naam ki ek ladki se hui thi jinhone 2 judwa baccho ko janam diya-

Esau aur Yaqoob aur unmei se YAQOOB ‘alayhis salaam ko baad mei nabuwat ata ki gayi thi.]
