CONVERSATION BETWEEN SHOAIB ‘ALAYHIS SALAAM & HIS COMMUNITY!!
Shoaib ‘alayhis salaam said to his community-
"And O my people, let not [your] opposition from me cause you to suffer similaraly to what struck the people of Nuh or the people of Hud or the people of Sualih. And the people of Lut are not far away from you."
(11:89)
"And ask forgiveness of your Rabb and then repent to Him. Indeed, my Rabb is Merciful and Affectionate." ( 11:90)
In reply, the disbelievers said-
"O Shoaib! We do not understand much of what you say and we see you a weak (man) among us. If your family/clan would have not been there, we would have certainly stoned you and you are not powerful against us"
(11:91)
Shoaib ‘alayhis salaam said-
"O my people! Is then my family of more weight with you than ALLAH? And you have cast Him (ALLAH) away behind your backs (means you have forgotten him.)
Verily my Rabb is surrounding all that you do."
(11:92)
[Shoaib ‘alayhis salaam ne apni qaum se kaha-
"Ae meri qaum! Aisa na ho ke meri mukhalifat tumhei wohi azaab pohcha de jo qaume Nuh, qaume Hud, aur qaume Sualih ko pohchaya gaya. Aur qaume Lut ka anjaam to tumse kuch door nahi hai.
"Ae meri qaum! Apne Rabb se maafi maang lo aur uski taraf palat aao. Beshak mera Rabb bohot rehem karne wala, bohot mohabbat karne wala hai."
Inkariyo ne jawaab diya-
"Ae Shoaib! Hume kuch samajh nahi aata jo tum hume kehte ho aur hum tumhe apne mei kamzor samajhte hai. Aur agar tumhare khandaan ki baat nahi hoti, to hum tumhe kab ka sangsaar kar chuke hote(yani patthar maar maarke khatam kar chuke hote) aur tum humare khilaaf kuch kar bhi na sakte.
Shoaib ‘alayhis salaam ne jawaab diya-
"Ae meri qaum! Kya phir mera khandaan tumhari nazro mei ALLAH se zyada ehmiyat rakhta hai? Kya tum apne rabb ko bhula chuke ho?
Beshak mera Rabb khoob ba-khabar hai jo tum karte ho.]
