THE MIRACLE OF ZAM ZAM & HOW IT STOPPED!!
This spring of water is known as ZAM ZAM!
It was one of the greatest miracles of ALLAH to help His righteous slaves & a clear sign for all.
The angel who was there to perform this task was Jibrail alayhis salaam.
Prophet Mohammad ﷺ said:
"The best water on the face of earth is the water of Zam zam; it is a kind of food & a healing from sickness"
(Saheeh al-Jaami,3302)
Hajra alayhis salaam feared that the spring might run out of water because it was flowing continously at a great speed, so she started to create some basin thing around it.
She enclosed it with some SAND & STONES and said: ZAM ZAM (which means stop stop or stop flowing)
So by ALLAH'S WILL, the water stopped but in a way that it will never end up no matter how much quantity is extracted from it.
Prophet Mohammad ﷺ said:
"May ALLAH bestow mercy on Ismail's mother! Had she let the zam zam flow without trying to control it.., Zam zam would have been a stream flowing on the surface of the earth."

[Iss pani ke chashme ko Zam zam kaha jata hai jo ALLAH ke mojzo mei se ek zabardast mojza tha jisse unhone apne nek bando ki madad ki aur tamam insano ke liye ek waaze nishani bana di.
Jis farishte ne isko jaari kara tha wo Jibrail alayhis salaam the.
Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam farmate hai ke: "Iss sar zameen par behetreen pani zam zam hai jo ek tarah ka khana aur bimaryo ke liye shifa hai."
Hajra alayhis salaam ko is baat ka darr hua ke kahi ye pani khatam na ho jaye kyuki wo lagatar tezi se bahe jaa raha tha to wo uske aas paas matti aur patharo se ek baandh(hauz/haudi) banane lagi aur pukarne lagi ZAM ZAM (jiska mayna hota hai tham ja ya ruk jaa.)
To ALLAH ke izn se wo pani tham gaya lekin is tariqe se ke wo kabhi khatam nahi hoga chahe use jitna bhi istemal kar liya jaye.
Ek hadith ke mutabiq, Nabi farmate hai ke-
"ALLAH ki rehmat ho Ismail ki waalda par, agar wo zam zam ko rokne ki koshish na karti..to puri zameen mei ye pani behta rehta.]
