CONVERSATION BETWEEN LUT ‘ALAYHIS SALAAM AND THE COMMUNITY!!
Lut ‘alayhis salaam requested his community men to go away from the guests but those people were filled with so much evil desires that nothing moved them.
Qur'aan mentions-
"Lut said- Verily! These are my guests, so shame me not!! And fear ALLAH and disgrace me not!!"
(15:68-69)
But those people stuck to what they said and made an argument with Lut ‘alayhis salaam!!
They said -
"Did we not forbid you to protect any of Alamin ( travellers, foreigners, strangers from us)?"
[ 15 :70]
Lut ‘alayhis salaam said-
"O my people! Here are my daughters (women of the community), they are purer for you ( to marry lawfully). So fear ALLAH and degrade me not in regarding my guests. Is there not among you a single right minded man?
(11:78)
The men replied-
"Surely you know that we have neither any desire nor any need of your daughters and indeed you know well what we want"
(11:79)
[Lut ‘alayhis salaam ne apni qaum ke mardo se darkhwast kari ke wo unke mehmano ke paas na aaye lekin un logo ki buri khwaishat par Lut ‘alayhis salaam ki koi bhi baat asar andaaz nahi ho rahi thi.
Qur'aan mei aata hai ke Lut ‘alayhis salaam ne apni qaum se kaha ke:
"Beshak! Ye mere mehmaan hai, mujhe inke saamne sharminda na karo aur ALLAH se daro."
Lekin wo log baat par ade rahe aur hujjat par utar aaye.
Kehne lage:
"Kya humne tujhe mana nahi kiya tha ke tu humare raaste mei mat aaya kar aur logo se hamdardi mat kiya kar"
Lut ‘alayhis salaam ne unhe phir samjhaya ke:
"Ae meri qaum. Ye meri betiya hai (yani qaum ki aurte), ye tumhare liye paak hai (agar tum halal tariqe se nikah karlo).
Isliye ALLAH se daro aur mere mehmano ke saamne mujhe ruswa mat karo. Kya tum mei se koi bhi samajhdaar nahi hai?"
Iss par bhi wo log chup na rahe aur kehne lage-
"Tum yaqeenan jaante ho ke na hume tumhari betiyo ki chahat hai aur na zarurat aur tum bohot acche se jaante ho ke hume kya chahye."]
