Story of Prophet Lut (Lut Alayhis Salaam ka qissa)

Lut ‘alayhis salaam was in a helpless state and by the verses of Qur'aan, it is well understood that because Lut ‘alayhis salaam was protecting the guests, so the people of his community tried to harm him to make their way clear.

"At that time, Lut ‘alayhis salaam wished for some sort of strength and power to gain victory against the disbelievers."

When angels saw this condition of Lut ‘alayhis salaam, they revealed themselves and consoled him.

They said-

"O Lut! We are the messengers (angels) from your Rabb! (Fear not), they shall not reach you."

It is mentioned in narrations, that Jibrail ‘alayhis salaam turned his wings or arms around the people which made them blind.

Qur'aan mentions-

"And they (disbelievers) indeed tried to shame his guests (by asking them to commit sodomy). So we blinded their eyes."

And then all the people started running back to their homes with fear but now also, they were continously giving warnings to Lut ‘alayhis salaam that they will not leave him.

[Lut ‘alayhis salaam bilkul bebas ho gaye the aur Qur'aan ki ayato se ye baat saaf zahir hoti hai ke kyuki Lut ‘alayhis salaam apne mehmano ko bacha rahe the, to unki qaum unhi ko nuksan pohchane ke liye koshishe kar rahi thi.

 

"Us waqt, Lut ‘alayhis salaam ye tamanna kar rahe the ke unke paas koi taaqat ya himmat aa jaye jisse wo apni qaum par ghalba hasil kar sake."

Jab farishto ne dekha ke Lut ‘alayhis salaam kis haal mei hai to unhone Lut ‘alayhis salaam ko zaahir kar diya ke aap fikar na kijiye, hum farishte hai. Ye log aapka kuch nahi bigaad sakte.

Rivayato ke mutabiq, Jibrail ‘alayhis salaam ne apna baazu ya phir apne paro ko qaum ki taraf ghumaaya aur sabke sab ANDHE ho gaye.

Phir wo sab darte darte apne ghar bhaagne lage lekin us waqt bhi wo log Lut ‘alayhis salaam ko dhamkiya diye jaa rahe the ke hum tumhe chodenge nahi.]
