GUESTS IN THE HOUSE OF IBRAHIM ALAYHIS SALAAM !!
According to narrations of Ibn Kathir, One day Ibrahim alayhis salaam was sitting outside his house remembing Ismail alayhis salaam and a big tear dropped from his eye.
Suddenly, he saw 3 guests coming towards his house.
They greeted Ibrahim alayhis salaam with "Salaam"
Ibrahim alayhis salaam didnt recognise them but took those guests inside his house to honour them.
He seated them and made them comfortable.
Then he went to his wife Sarah alayhis salaam (his first wife) to inform her about the guests.
She was now an old and white- haired woman.
ALLAH narrated this to Prophet Mohammad (peace and blessings be upon him) in Quraan-
"Has the story reached you of the honored guests of Ibrahim? When they came to him and said: "Salaam (peace be upon you)!"
He (Ibrahim) too answered: "Salaam!" (51:24-25)
[Ibn Kathir ki rivaayato ke mutabiq, ek din Ibrahim alayhis salaam apne ghar ke bahar baithe hue Ismail alayhis salaam ko yaad kar rahe the aur unke aakho se aasu aane lage.
Itne mei unke ghar ki taraf 3 mehmaan chalte hue aaye aur unhone Ibrahim alayhis salaam ko "Salaam" kiya.
Ibrahim alayhis salaam ne unhe pehchana nahi lekin khuloos ke sath un mehmano ko andar le gaye aur unhe araam se baitha diya.
Phir wo apni biwi Sarah alayhis salaam (jo unki pehli biwi thi) ke paas gaye aur bataya ke ghar mei kuch mehmaan aaye hai.
Sarah alayhis salaam ab tak kaafi boodhi ho chuki thi aur unke baal bhi safed ho gaye the.
ALLAH ne Quraan mei Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam se is qisse ko bayaan karte hue farmaya-
"Kya aapke paas un mehmano ka qissa pohcha jo Ibrahim alayhis salaam ke paas aaye the? Jab wo unke paas aaye aur kaha : Salaam! Phir Ibrahim alayhis salaam ne bhi unhe salaam kiya."]
